Job Summary
Part Time Office Clerk to assist M-F 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
MUST be bilingual and dependable. Fast learner.
Responsibilities and Duties
Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate staff professional
Answer questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other basic info
Greet clients warmly and notify appropriate Personnel of client arrival
Greet on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
Ability to deliver info to others clearly and accurately
Give instructions to clients on how to fill out paperwork for intake and required registrations
Maintain employee directories; schedule client appointments, meetings and maintain/ update appointment calendars
Maintain a safe, clean working environment
Insurance verification/authorization, discharges, follow-ups, and referral trackings
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; verbal/written communication, listening, professionalism, customer focus, and organization
Coordinate mail flow, in and out of office
Look for ways to improve and promote quality; change approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
Create and print correspondence, reports, and other documents as required; perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, fax messages, and other duties as assigned.
Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; follow through on commitments
React well under pressure; treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day care, supervision, and security of adolescents; does related work as required.Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Youth Care Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise youth and set appropriate behavioral limits
Maintains positive community relations with parents, other agencies, and youth family members.
Prepares and maintain files in confidential manner and maintains proper documentation in the staff
Communication logs regarding client behavior and activity.
Maintains a log of incidents, facility maintenance issues and resolutions.
Implement social and recreational activities.
Provide input into development of treatment plans as appropriate.
Participate in group therapy sessions for residents, as necessary.
Participate in daily community meetings.
Teach constructive behavior and social skills.
Performs routine room inspections for cleanliness, contraband and safety hazards. Ensures a safe and secure environment for residents.
Maintain appropriate boundaries with residents at all times
Provider proper Therapeutic Crisis Intervention when required or directed by staff.
Be a positive role model for residents.
Maintain an orderly and clean-living area.
Oversee daily chores.
Assume responsibility for transportation.
Assist in orientation of new residents.
Gain a working knowledge of policies.

Job Summary
Provides substance abuse counseling designed to assist adolescent/adult clients to successfully complete the substance abuse program and learn skills to remain drug/alcohol free.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Duties: Conduct initial intake assessments; assign adolescent/adult clients to group counseling and other program required activities, develop and implement individual client treatment plans. Conduct group and individual counseling, client progress assessments, substance abuse education, and personal and social adjustment training. Maintain treatment and other therapeutic records and develop linkages with community services. Teach families problems. Provide other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Driving a vehicle to conduct work. Flexible schedules that may require evening and weekend work. Physical abilities required included; hearing and speaking to exchange info; seeing to assess situations and make observations; sitting, standing and speaking for an extended period of time. Ability to lift approximately 25lbs. Incumbents may be exposed to individuals exhibiting violent or anti-social behavior.Able and willing to travel.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Requirements: Must be registered with Texas Department of State Health Services as a LCDC or LCDC-intern. Bachelor’s degree preferred in psychology, social work, or behavioral sciences with two years of substance abuse treatment experience. Demonstrated ability to conduct education and therapeutic counseling for individuals and groups required.
Important Qualities
Compassion: Counselors often work with people who are dealing with stressful and difficult situations, sothey must be compassionate and empathize with their clients.
Interpersonal Skills: Counselors must be able to work with different types to people. They spend most of their time working directly with clients and other professionals and must be able to develop and nature good relationships.
Listening Skills: Good listening are essential for substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselors. They need to give their full attention to a client to be able to understand that clients problems and values.
Patience: Substance abuse counselors must be able to remain calm when working with all types of clients,including those who may be distressed or angry.
Speaking skills: Substance abuse counselors need to be able to communicate with clients effectively. They must express ideas and info in a way that their clients easily understand. Bilingual preferred.
Standards of Performance: Adaptable, motivated, team work, positive attitude, emotional maturity,energetic, considerate, dependable, flexible, honest, and to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
